Flame Mingo Chimney & Fireplace
A South Florida chimney and fireplace company serving customers since 1998, with a simple approach: look first, explain honestly, and fix the real problem.
We work on the whole system — masonry chimneys and prefab ones, wood-burning fireboxes, gas units and electric fireplaces — which means you don’t need three different companies to sort out a leak, a smell and a fireplace that won’t light. It’s all one call.
How we work
Most people reach us describing a symptom — water staining a ceiling, a campfire smell on humid days, smoke rolling into the room, a fireplace that won’t start. Our job is to translate that symptom into a diagnosis: to look at the flue, firebox, crown, cap and flashing, figure out what’s actually driving the problem, and explain it in plain language. We’d rather tell you a cheaper repair will hold than sell you a bigger one you don’t need — and we’ll tell you honestly when a job needs a permit, a licensed specialist, or is outside what we do.
What we’re careful about
We think credibility matters more than marketing. So a few things we won’t do: we don’t invent certifications, licenses, star ratings or completed-job counts; we don’t promise same-day dispatch we can’t guarantee; and we don’t improvise on gas, electrical or structural work that carries real safety and permit requirements. When something is beyond our scope or needs an authorization, we say so. That honesty is the whole point of the company.

A note on the flamingo
Yes, our mascot is a soot-dusted flamingo in a top hat. It’s a nod to where we work and it makes the trucks easy to spot — but the work itself is straightforward, careful chimney and fireplace service. The bird is for fun; the flue work is not.
